Supporting the Postbox Toppers Charity Fundraiser

We're supporting this year's fundraiser

The local Xmas campaign to spread some joy around the local area in St Albans and Harpenden is underway...

Last year this local 'yarn bomb' was a phenomenal success, raising over £25,000 for worthy local causes. This year the team are aiming for more toppers and raising even more for their two chosen charities – Youth Talk and ADD-Vance.

They'll be over 50 post boxes 'topped' as part of this fabulous event and Harpenden will be an important part of this fun-filled festive activity with around 7 post boxes in the town being suitably dressed for the festive period too.

And The Harpenden Guide is getting involved too and sponsoring the postbox in the town centre...

And you and your business can get involved too.

There are still a number of local postboxes in Harpenden and St Albans that will be decorated and given a festive make over so if you'd like to get involved and sponsor one of this year's Harpenden Postbox Toppers simply e-mail the team at hq@stalbanspostboxes.org.uk to register for one and make the donation on the link below...

Note: A minimum donation of £100 is required to sponsor a single postbox. If you wish to choose the location then the minimum donation is £125. Please contact the team if there are any queries.

Follow the Trail

There will be a great festive trail to follow to find all the local toppers (there will be over 50 in St Albans and Harpenden) so it's a great fun way to enjoy a family day out.

All the details about the trail and how to get involved will be published on the website so make sure you register to take part and you might even win som fabulous prizes!

Make a Postbox Topper

If you'd like to get involved in knitting/crocheting a topper it's not too late – email hq@stalbanspostboxes.org.uk for all the details. But you’ll need to move quickly as the team need them completed in early November! They can provide wool, some patterns and ideas so drop them a line!

All the money goes directly to the chosen charities so please do get involved.
